Christmas in Arizona Puzzle
As one of the newest additions to the Arizona Highways Collection, this 500-piece jigsaw puzzle will provide hours of fun and quality time with loved ones during the holiday season. The photograph, featuring a warm welcome, was made by photographer Edgar Ellinger Jr.
Puzzle size is 18 by 24 inches.

Red Rock Country is a long way from Wall Street, but Edgar Ellinger Jr. made the transition look easy when he left his New York finance career and settled in Sedona in the late 1940s. During the 1950s and early ‘60s, he contributed numerous stories and photographs to Arizona Highways, including the photo used to create this puzzle, which appeared on the back cover of the magazine’s December 1960 issue. The image, titled Everybody’s Welcome at Our House, shows a ranching family decorating for Christmas beneath Coffee Pot Rock, one of the Sedona area’s best-known sandstone formations. “Western hospitality is Hospitality with a capital ‘H,’” the original caption declares.
